Become Your Very Own K-Drama Protagonist at the K-Drama Spotlight Exhibition
Are you a K-dramas lover or just simply a curious soul ? Either way “K-Drama Spotlight: Be the Leading Role” is the perfect immersive experience for you. Located in the Gallery Gwanghwa in central Seoul next to Gwanghwamun square, this exhibition showcases materials from hit shows such as King the Land, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and The Glory. It also features the latest interactive technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), to fully immerse visitors in their favorite series. Actor Song Geon-hee (starring in Lovely Runner, Sky Castle, Love Alarm…) , attended the opening ceremony on August 12. The exhibition is free to the public and will be open until November 12.
Throughout the exhibition you are invited to step into the life of an actor. From experiencing fame on a red carpet with paparazzies flashing their camera at you, to seeing the backstage of an actor’s changing room.

An amazing exhibition in Seoul is using cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to transport visitors to iconic spots like Namsan Mountain, the Han River, and Haebangchon Sinheung Market. This unique experience, featuring Lovely Runner star Song Geon-hee, allows guests to enjoy everyday Korean activities, like eating ramen by the Han River, as if they were part of a K-drama. The interactive technologies used in the exhibit, such as an eight-sided mirrored room for colorful photos and a space showcasing drama highlights, have impressed visitors.

The “Fan Meeting” exhibit, where fans can feel like they are meeting their favorite stars, has been especially popular. Adding to the experience, the Hall of Fame allows visitors to create their own AI avatars and personalized handprints, leaving their mark on the display wall.

Before attending, guests can download the “K-Drama Spotlight” app, which supports five languages and includes an interactive AR hunt with souvenirs. The app also offers tourist information about the filming locations, making it easy for fans to extend their K-drama journey beyond the exhibit.
