Fu Bao, First Panda Born in South Korea
🐼 Fu Bao the first panda born in South Korea is currently trending all over the world for being the new baby panda. We would like to share with you some Panda facts along with cute baby Fu Bao pictures 💖
Parents Ai Bao (🐼Mother) and Le Bao (🐼Father) are both from the Sichuan Dujiangyan Panda Habitat in China. They first arrived in South Korea in 2016, a 15-year loan agreed by South Korea and Chinese during a summit in 2014. Ai Bao was two years old and Le Bao was three years old.
Both Ai Bao and Le Bao are named after Everland (AiBaoLeYuan) in Chinese. Ai Bao means “an adorable treasure” while Le Bao means “a treasure that gives happiness”. Both did live up to their names after 5 years, welcoming the first panda born in South Korea, Fu Bao ❤
🐼 Fu Bao, the first panda was born in South Korea last year in mid-July at the amusement park Everland. Fu Bao was weighed 197 grams and measured at 16.5cm at birth. Just like her parents, she was given the name Fu Bao which means “lucky treasure”. Now let’s hope that Fu Bao will be able to live up to her name and bring us all luck in 2021.
After living behind the scenes for 6 months, Fu Bao finally made her very first public appearance on January 4th. Visitors can see Fu Bao at Everland’s Panda World at a certain time. To visit Fu Bao, please get a “waiting ticket“ at the Panda World! The waiting ticket will show you what time you can visit Fu Bao.

‘To All the Boys’ Always and Forever filming locations to visit in South Korea
Contents
Hello, from Korea!
Are you guys excited for the upcoming movie To All the Boys: Always and Forever? 💖
The release date will be on February 12th, 2021 on Netflix, just 2 days before Valentine’s Day! Just like what the movie poster states, “you never know where love will lead you”, Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor) ended up in Seoul, South Korea for a family trip. Many parts of Seoul were shown in the trailer and we would love to share with you the movie “To All the Boys: Always and Forever” filming locations!
1. Bongeunsa Temple
💗 Lara Jean was seen standing in front of the 23-meter Maitreya Buddha statue. The Bongeunsa Temple is located on the slope of Sudo Mountain, offers you the perfect view of the old and new modern sky scrapper buildings around it. 👉🏻 The Bongeunsa Temple is accessible through subway line 9, Bongeunsa Station, exit 1, subway line 7, Cheongdam Station, exit 2, and subway line 2, Samseong Station, exit 6 just across the street from the COEX Mall.
2. Han River (I•SEOUL•U)
❤ The following movie location was a shot of the Han River from above and one of the famous photo zones in Korea with the I•SEOUL•U sculpture. Here, Lara Jean and her sisters Morgan (played by Janel Parrish) and Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart) were seen having fun around the I•SEOUL•U sculpture. They were also on a tandem bicycle (three-person bike), which you can rent, and ride around Han River. 👉🏻 You can locate the I•SEOUL•U sculpture at subway line 5, Yeouinaru Station, exit 2 and subway line 7, Ttukseom Hangang Park, exit 2 next to Riverside Stage.
3. Myeongdong Shopping Streets
🍦 Lara Jean and her family were also seen at the Myeongdong Shopping Streets, where you can shop for Korean clothes, cosmetics and enjoy some street food! Lara Jean’s sister Kitty got to try the 30cm soft served ice cream! Pick from single flavors or a mix between chocolate, vanilla, green tea, milk, strawberry, and yogurt. 👉🏻 Visit Myeongdong Shopping Streets at subway line 4 Myeongdong Station, exit 5/6/7/8.
4. Noraebang
🎤 Of course Lara Jean and her sisters had to visit a Noraebang (karaoke)! Noraebang is pretty much located in every neighborhood all around Seoul. You just have to look for the sign with the Korean letter “노래방”. Visiting alone? No worries, in Korea we have Coin Noraebang! It is a karaoke booth, where you get to pay per song and sing your hearts out. We wonder what Kpop songs were the sisters singing to. 🎶
5. Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)
🛍 Lara Jean and her sisters are seen carrying shopping bags walking around the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, this is where the yearly “Seoul Fashion Week” takes place with Korean idols like BTS, EXO, Mamamoo, etc. Surrounding the Dongdaemun Design Plaza are shopping malls like Doota, Migliore, Hello apM, Lotte Fittin, etc. 👉🏻 Shop your heart away here subway line 1/2, Dongdaemun Station, exit 7.
6. Greem Café
💌 “To All the Boys” what all started with a letter, Seoul and the Greem Café. Lara Jean was seen writing a letter here at the 2D cartoon/comic like café. The café is said to be inspired by the Korean Drama “W” starring Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo, where the real world and comic world clash. Is Lara Jean’s real-world clashing with her fairy tale to be with Peter Kavinsky (played by Noah Centineo)? We wonder what she was writing to Peter. 👉🏻 Recreate Lara’s scene here subway line 2, Hongdae Station, exit 3.
7. Hanbok Experience
Remember Lara and her sister Kitty wearing the Korean traditional clothing Hanbok in the second film “TO ALL THE BOYS 2: P.S. I Still Love You”? There are many different kinds of Hanbok which represent many different meanings. Depending on the symbols, flowers like chrysanthemums or peonies meant longevity and the tiger represented the king’s courage.
Want to visit all the filming locations for To All the Boys: Always and Forever? With COVID-19 around, it may be hard to visit all the places in one go. Travel around Seoul in a private car!

Bus n.724
Do you know SUGA’s mix-tapes song “724148”? The title is the combination of 2 bus line numbers: 724 a bus SUGA took every day in Daegu, while 148 is the bus that SUGA used to take mostly when he moved to Seoul.
Daegu Metropolitan System
We will also take the monorail for more long-distance transfers. Daegu is a little different from Seoul, aside from the common subway (Line 1 & 2), Line 3 is a monorail. The monorail travels above the surface, giving you a unique view of the city from the sky. It is Korea’s first straddle-type monorail system.
