
K-Pop Comebacks To Watch Out For in July 2024
With the new month arriving in fast with many announced singles and albums, here is your exclusive guide from KoreaTravelEasy on what K-Pop groups and idols are either returning or even debuting in July. Get ready to delve into a load of summery vibes and upbeat tunes!
Weeekly
After a small break, Weeekly is returning to promotions with their 6th mini album ‘Bliss’.The teasers released as of far have showcased both the class and elegance of the Weeekly members, as well as the cutesy side that we are all familiar with and love. The album will be released on the 9th of July at 6PM KST.
Dreamcatcher
Back on their consistent release of heavy-hitting rock music, Dreamcatcher is slated to comeback on the 10th of July with their 10th mini album ‘VirtuouS’. The album includes 5 new tracks from the girl group now having reached their 7th year of activity. Displaying a bold and regal concept, Dreamcatcher is expected to grab the attention of fans again with the powerful stage presence.
JU-NE (iKON)
After 9 years on the stage, Junhoe of iKON (under the stage name JU-NE) is finally making his long-awaited solo debut under 143 Entertainment, the label who took over iKON’s management after the group’s departure from YG Entertainment. The solo album set to be released on the 3rd of July ( is titled ‘MOOD’ and is expected to embody JU-NE’s passion for raw and authentic rock, a genre that JU-NE has explored since early iKON days.
Lee Seung Hoon (WINNER)
On the same note, Seung Hoon of WINNER (also known under the stage name HOONY) is also making his solo debut 11 years after the airing of WIN: Who Is Next?. Seung Hoon will release his EP ‘My Type’ on the 15th of July. While the genre or direction of the concept is still under wraps, the teaser consisting of a single piece of toast is beginning to drum up anticipation.
Stray Kids
Continuing on their hot streak as they prepare for another world tour, global superstars Stray Kids are geared up for yet another comeback this year after viral single ‘Lose My Breath’. Embracing grungy aesthetics that act as a continuation of their previous albums, their upcoming mini album ‘ATE’ will once again show off the sheer talent that Stray Kids bring to the K-Pop industry, from the intricate choreographies to their one-of-a-kind writing and producing skills. The album will see a global release at 1PM KST on the 19th of July.
(G)I-DLE
Are you excited to see our queencards comeback on stage again in the lively summer? On the 8th of July (6PM), (G)I-DLE will release their second comeback this year and 7th mini album overall. The album is called ‘I SWAY’ and promises itself as a bubbly and vibrant summer comeback that once again proves the meaning of (G)I-DLE as the nation’s Girls Idol, empowering women across Korea and even the world.
NCT 127
Is it truly a year of K-Pop releases without all of the units of NCT? NCT 127 are the third unit to release an album this year and despite not having a full lineup, the anticipation is strong as this is the first full album promotions that member Taeil will participate in after recovering from his injuries. The 6th Album titled ‘WALK’ is expected to show the energetic and unique energy that NCT 127 have built in the last eight years.

Taeyeon (SNSD/Girls Generation)
Challenging a unique concept once again, Taeyeon is back with her new single called ‘Heaven’. Promotions for this song have been intriguing fans as throughout Seoul, there has been a bear mascot cutely promoting the release near the SM Entertainment building and in surrounding areas. Taeyeon will delve into a fascinating horror stylized song on the 8th of July at 6PM.
Jimin (BTS)
Last but absolutely not least in the slightest, Jimin continues the BTS military era solo album rollout with his the release of his second solo album ‘MUSE’. Building up excitement by releasing carefree and fun pre-release track ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’ with Loco, Jimin is set for another Billboard charting sensation that has Army excited for what’s to come. While the pre-release was released on the 28th of June, the full ‘MUSE’ album will be released worldwide at 1PM KST on the 24th of July.
