Check your email You will instantly receive the order receipt by email. The confirmation voucher with instructions will be sent to you within 48 hours after booking, subject to availability.

[ PICK UP ]

  • Please double-check your terminal number if you choose Incheon Airport as a pickup/return location.

  • Please make sure the WiFi Egg Router is properly working before you leave the pick-up location.
    *** If there is any problem after picking it up, you will have to visit the SK Telecom branches or call to customer center (T: 6343-9000 or 080-252-5011 ).
  • If the pickup date is delayed due to unavoidable circumstances (such as flight delays), the number of days of use will remain the same.
  • If the start date for using the WiFi router is delayed, the return date will be automatically extended accordingly.

  • WiFi Router Variants:
    - Previous Version: Compatible with portable battery charger.
    - New Version (from May 2023): Not compatible with the portable battery charger.

  • The new version will not come with a portable battery charger as part of the set.
  • Customers can request a portable battery charger directly on the pickup desk for the new version, but availability is limited and might be out of stock.
  • A charge of 10,000 KRW will be applied for lost portable battery chargers.
  • All pre-order customers will be assigned the new version router. Daily pick-up reservations might be assigned the previous version.

 

[ EXTEND & RETURN POLICY]

  • If you wish to extend your rental days, please order the number of days you want to extend, and on a special request, write your previous order number
    (order number consists of six digits, e.g. #000000).
  • If you do not return the router after the requested period is over, the penalty fee will be automatically deducted from your card within 5 days after the return date.
  • If you exceed 1 GB per day, the internet speed can be a little slow. However, there will be no issue to use your SNS (Instagram, Facebook, Line, What's an app, etc.)
  • To return the WiFi router, you can simply drop it off at the designated counter.
  • If you would like to change the return location, please inform us by 2 business days before the return day

[ BATTERY ISSUE]

  • The router may only have a charge for a few hours of usage. Potentially the battery is not fully charged.
  • Checking the battery level when collecting the router. If the battery is too low, please request an exchange immediately.
  • Please note that failing to check the battery level during pickup might result in insufficient battery life or the device turning off.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund: 3 business days (by 17:00 pm KST) before the selected date
  • 80% refund: 2 business days (by 17:00 pm KST) before the selected date
     (e.g: if your pick-up date is on Thursday, you must contact us by Tuesday 17:00 pm KST)

    I had a big problem with the battery life, it usually lasted half a day. As a tourist I thought it would be a more viable and comfortable option, but I’m afraid I didn’t take into account the battery issue and it’s worth mentioning that the more devices are connected, which in my case at first there were 2 people, the less the battery lasted.

    The pocket wifi was super useful and it also came with a power bank just in case! I didn’t have any problems with the data and connection with the router, however the return process can be slightly frustrating. You are required to get a ticket to line up to return your pocket wifi. I was short on time and there was at least 10 groups in front of me, they should just make a drop off box to make the line shorter. There was at least two or three people lined up before/after me that also wanted to return their pocket wifi. Putting that aside, will definitely recommend this1

    For me the only thing that was not really clear is that I ordered specifically an SK Telecom router. So the specific desk I had to go to was not clear enough, but the service desks are close to each other so that is not a big issue. The Wi-Fi speed was not perfect, but good enough for surfing and browsing. Service at the couter was good and return process easy as well. Recommended site for a good price.

    I ordered 2 pocket wifi which came with the routers and chargers. It was fast and easy to pick up and return at Incheon Airport. The routers lasted most of the day but a power bank would have been helpful. They take long to charge so we had them plugged in overnight. We split 2 wifi among 3 devices. Internet speed was fine and we had no issues. In the future I would go with a SIM card since a Korean phone number is required for a lot of things including salon appointments, Kakao taxi, etc. But if you are looking for wifi, this is a great affordable and reliable option!

Although free wifi is nearly everywhere, you have to click through the virtual barrier everytime which is tedious and in Korean (not so with the pocket router). Would have given five stars except that the battery only lasted about 6-8 hrs on a charge (so I brought my own portable battery–very helpful). Incidentally, the ad says they would provide a portable battery, but they did not. Bottom line: I would rent it again in the future.

    We received the 1st router from the airport with low battery, couldn’t be charged full overnight either, had to exchange for a 2nd one couple days later (Customer Service response time was very fast and nice). Overall, when the router works, it’s great. But the 2nd one doesn’t last full day either, only through around 3-5 pm in the afternoon. Since it doesn’t come with a portable charger bank, it became unusable for the rest of the day until it gets charged at night.

    Could not have survived the trip without this little device! The box gets hot so beware, and the battery dies pretty quickly. We had to carry a power bank with us so that wifi doesn’t drop. The only difficult part was walking down the long airport terminal to find the right location of the pick-up and drop-off station. We had wifi everywhere and had no problems with it. When we picked up the wifi pocket it took a while but returning it went very fast! It was easy to pick up and bring back. Next to Seoul we also visited Donghae and Samcheock and also here there was no problem with the wifi pocket. We will definitely purchase it again when we will be traveling to korea in the future! Also I saw alot of comments saying the battery doesn’t last long but ours did we could go a whole day out with it without charging it.

    Fabulous in every way! I organised the wifi 3 weeks before arriving at Incheon. On the day we appeared, we quickly and easily found the SK desk and showed booking email. We were given our wifi in a pouch with charger and instructions – the assistant checked we were connected and that was so easy! We returned the pouch to the same desk on departure. On arrival the process was quick and easy, they ensured that you connect successfully which was great. The pickup/ drop off is at the airport which makes it even more convenient.

There should be a separate queue for customers who had already registered online and paid upfront.     The Wi-Fi itself was good and so helpful during our week stay. It was so nice to have a reliable way to get directions and make sure we always had access to information that we needed. The biggest negative was that the device turned off right after we left the airport. I tried to charge it with the provided battery, but it did nothing. Thankfully I brought a different portable battery that I was able to use to charge it. I tried to charge the battery, but even after that it didn’t charge the Wi-Fi device fully. I gave up and used the battery I brought. It would have been helpful to have a pre charged device and a working portable battery. I would recommend the Wi-Fi and would rent it again. I would just recommend that you don’t rely on the company to provide it charged or that the battery would work. Which is sad because I relied on that internet access in order to know where to go that first day.

    I rented two devices and had some issues with intermittent connections that occurred simultaneously on both devices. However, the connection was there long enough for me to be able to function well with it. I didn’t get a chance to reach out to their customer service during the time I had the devices, but after returning them and sending feedback, I was surprised that they looked into it. That level of service alone shows how much ownership and consideration they have in their product and service.     The wifi egg worked 100% of the time just like someone reviewed on 11-4-22. My wife is Korean and the salesperson explained everything in Korean. Two key pieces of info are (1) the power button which when you go to bed you want to turn off & (2) you want to charge the charger to the egg every night. I will always get a wifi egg. Also, when you get in line, remember to take a line ticket from the dispenser.

    The wifi was unstable and disconnected at least one time minimum everyday. I stepped into an SK telecom store to request help and they said they couldn’t help with the eggs. The speeds were slow about half the time, but fast the other half when they were working. I’ve rented wifi eggs in the past and had never had any issues, but this was the first time I’ve had such unreliable experience so will never rent it here again.

The charging port did not work and we did not discover that until we got to the hotel.     The pick up and return processes were smooth and efficient, but we had trouble connecting to the pocket wifi for two of our more older-model phones. The wifi also occasionally disconnected and reconnected randomly throughout the day even when it was fully charged. We also realized that the powerbank provided did not have enough capacity to charge up the pocket wifi. In the end, we so simply did not use the powerbank.

    O Wifi Egg funcionou perfeitamente bem durante os 15 dias em que o usei na Coreia do Sul. A internet é bem rápida e, mesmo dividindo com mais uma pessoa, não mudança alguma na velocidade. Também não tive dificuldades pra retirá-lo no aeroporto de Incheon e fazer o primeiro acesso. O único ponto negativo é o encaixe do power bank que acompanha o aparelho, pois não é muito firme e fica desconectando frequentemente. No entanto, como a bateria do Wifi dura o dia inteiro, não fiquei na mão. Outro ponto que merece atenção é que o local de retorno 3 do aparelho no terminal 1 não corresponde à indicação do site, mas deduzi que seria num guichê da SK Telecom mais próximo do local indicado e deu tudo certo.

    Visited Korea after living there for a few years and going back home for months and now that I do not have a phone plan with data anymore I found pocket wifi to be the best option to stay easily connected anywhere!! Cheaper and better than prepaid sim cards too imo as the simcards data is usually too little for my personal use. The pocket wifi’s charge lasts long (used it for 6 weeks going out every day and staying outside almost all day long and never had to use my portable battery) and I had internet absolutely everywhere:) There was 2 days where I forgot to extend my wifi use and thus had to use public wifi and it was a literal nightmare because korea’s public wifi is not as efficient as people make it out to be… so I was very happy and relieved to get my pocket wifi back at the end of the weekend!!!!! Anyway I absolutely recommend it!

    There was a little bit of a wait both for pick up and drop off, but it wasn’t more than 10 minutes on either end. The processes of both pick up and drop off were made easy by the staff and the router lasted longer than the 5 hours that was quoted.     GREAT CAN’T RECOMMEND CUSTOMER SERVICE MORE. I added dates 5-6 times and kept changing the location return, but the customer service reps are very fast, patient, and kind. They updated my voucher quickly. When there was also a mistake (I put my return day at Hongik when it was closed), they reached out to me repeatedly to make sure I got a new date and wouldn’t be charged. The wifi itself is fast and works great for even 2 devices, portable battery great, staff awesome. Would use them again. Thanks so much.

    The pick up was seamless, once I found the correct Booth , it was through SK telephone company when I was looking for a KTE sign. All worked out fine, and return was easy.     First of all Koreatraveleasy is awesome and it has nothing to do with my 2 stars qualification. This was my 3rd time in korea and in the first two ocassions I rented the pocket wifi through this website and it worked extremely well. But this time it was horrible and annoying. The speed… I was receiving 5 to 6mb of internert speed. It was a pain trying to use my laptop with this speed. Pages were just not loading. In my first time to Korea with this device I was receiving around 25mb and in my second time I was receiving like 40mb. It was awesome. But this time was aweful. One thing to notice is that SK has different types of these devices. In my first 2 ocassions I got the “black” one, but this time I got a “grey” one. The other problem with this grey device was the battery. I needed to keep charging it over and over again each day. A very disappointing experience this time.

    I really love this pocket wifi. Works extremely well. This was my second time in Korea traveling alone and the only way to fully explore the city is when you are always connected to internet. The only bad thing is that the battery charger did not work well. Same thing happend last year. The pocket wifi works pretty well but not the charger. But I use my own charger so it was not really a problem. Thank you Korea travel easy due you really make things way easier for us travelers :).

    I was skeptical but this was the real deal! You select where you want to pick it up and where to return, the battery on the pocket wifi lasted pretty much the whole day, and there was a power bank in case you forgot to charge it the night before. Good speeds, never went over 1gb (Or at least I didn’t notice the speed being shaped). I was juggling between this and SIM card but this is definitely the way to go! Only problem would be if you’re going in a group and someone wants to seperate, but most places in South Korea have free Wifi (eg Starbucks) if they get lost. A must have product!

    There are a lot of places you can get pocket WiFi to rent, but what stands out for this company is the price. Book your reservations on line and you pay less then $3 (US) a day I think we paid $2.30 per day..now that’s a deal. WiFi router connected easy and fast. They give a battery power backup should your router start to go low. Which ours didn’t and we used ours for many hours while shopping and touring. All I can say is this was a great trip cause we had WiFi that could get us around and the price was right. Oh yes customer service was also good which I found is not the case in Korea where I felt when shopping customer representatives could be rude cause they didn’t speak much English.

    On arrival we went to the pick up counter which was easy to find and there was no queue. We did not seem expected however and nothing was prepared. It took quite a lot of sorting out and quite some time . The router we picked up was designed for three phones not the advertised three and no power bank was available as booked which was annoying . Drop off was easy though we could not get any form of receipt for the return despite asking so I took I took a photo of the desk

Only issue I had with it is that you can receive all your email accounts, but you can only send from a web-based email account (gmail, yahoo, etc). I could not send from my cox.net email accounts even though I could receive email in those accounts.

    It was our first experience using the egg router so it took a few days to adapt and learn how to use it properly and efficiently. After that it suited our needs and made wifi connection so convenient and ready anytime and all the time. Being first time travelers in your country, the pick up and drop off was a bit of a problem in that finding the kiosk was a bit difficult. The help of the Korea tour guide who knew where to go was a big help. As a suggestion from other travelers who uses these routers, a pick up and drop off from the first hotel to the last would be ideal. But then again the cost would probably be more. The cost of the rental was very reasonable and this is one of the reason we chose KTE. We will surely use KTE again.

    My experience with the wifi egg was great! Internet was super fast and i never lost connectivity. There were times when i thought the internet was out but it seems the router has some sleep mode mechanism when not used for a period of time, just hit the “ON” button on the wifi egg again and you are back in business I will definitely be using their service again. Plus the free power bank added on is a winner too! Pickup and drop off at the airport was a breeze too. Thank you for also having the best wifi egg rental;. Super cheap!

    Easy to order, easy pick-up and return location and process, connection is very good in Seoul, battery lasts me almost all day even without the powerbank (I mostly used the powerbank for my phone), doesn’t need credit card with your own name to pick-up (this is rare, cos other similar services would require credit card under your name to be able to rent, which is such a hassle if you’re underage/doesn’t have one). Highly recommended.

    Fast easy service, I ended up with a newer model so it had longer battery life and only came with a wall charger. Only lost service once (turned out it was dead because I forgot to charge it the night before) but once charged turned back on and connected seamlessly. I don’t know how necessary it was considering how many places have wifi, but as a new comer to the area it was a relief to never have to worry about having access to the internet.

    The pocket WiFi egg router was excellent in delivering fast, reliable WiFi connection. The live streaming of movies worked well and the signal was excellent while carrying the egg in my backpack. Sometimes the charge would run out and the charger wouldn’t replenish the battery enough to use it again until we plugged it into an outlet or battery. Luckily we had an external battery to charge on the go and this worked beautifully for at least 48 hours.

    The pocket WIFI router worked very well above ground and I had no problem with it for the whole trip. The extra power supply is necessary as the route I rented in Japan from other company died after about 5 hours of service. It would be perfect if this pocket WIFI also works in underground stations. I had no signal in all underground stations.

    The pocket WiFi Egg Router was extremely useful on my trip in Korea. Once you’re logged onto the WiFi server, all you have to do is bring it around with you. They also provide a lightweight portable charger on top of the wire to help charge the router, which which is great for on the go usage.     This was our second time renting SK Telecom Pocket Wifi devices through Korea Travel Easy. Once again, service and ease of use was exceptional! Compared to just last year, I was pleasantly surprised at how the strong the signal was on the device. We had strong service even in the underground subway! We never had to use the provided portable battery pack, as the devices had enough power to last us throughout the day and we charged them through the night.     Renting a Pocket WiFi is something I would recommend to anyone coming to Korea for a longer period of time. Even though free WiFi is offered throughout most of Korea, I felt like it was super handy to stay in touch with all my friends all the time and not miss out on any of their texts. Also, it was a great way to plan stuff on the go by being able to look things up wherever I went without having to enter a cafe or store to hook up to the free WiFi zone.

    The mobile hotspot worked perfectly throughout our travels in Korea. Even in a very country place 2.5 hours outside of Seoul where I had a hard time finding a bathroom, Internet access was no problem! Just remember to follow the directions to pick up at the SK telecom booth between exit 5 and 6 in Terminal 1. Also, when you get to the booth, don’t just stand in line, go to the Kiosk and get a number first. Drop off is same booth.

    I was very happy with this pocket wifi! The power lasted long and the internet was very fast, even on the subway. If I ever come back to Korea I will make sure to rent it again. Even though I had some trouble finding it when I arrived at the airport it was extremely convenient for the rest of my time. 🙂 There were just some instances when I had to restart the device but afterwards everything was working perfectly again, even after one whole month of me using it.

    Excellent data speeds (~25 mbps down) and coverage. The battery lasted all day (light to moderate use) without needing to top it off with the included battery pack. The only minor annoyance was there are 2 stands at Terminal 2 in Incheon and the first one I went to said I had to go to the other one after waiting for about 10 minutes in the queue. Otherwise, it’s a great value and highly recommend it. Will use it again.

    Easy process and no hassle to pick up and return at Jeju airport. Mine had intermittent technical issue started on the next day after pickup. The egg needs to be always charged (thank god i have powerbank along) and once full then the connection working fine but sometimes it still down (blinking red). I reported the problem and was advised to exchange the device in Seoul..just forget it. Luckily when i really need the connection itwas working fine

    Overall I was very happy with the egg as I was able to connect fairly easily throughout my travels around Korea. I liked that I was able to pick it up in Busan and drop it off in Incheon airport. At times I felt like the limit of 1gb per day wasn’t exceeded before the connection speed became useless but then I can’t really confirm the truth of that-it’s just a feeling. As I was uploading short videos to Instagram regularly I mostly used the router when out and then wifi back at my accommodation. Good service and was very reasonably priced. Thank you

    The router is really light and the wifi speed is fast. The batery of the router can last for more than 10 hours without off, connected to 3 mobile phones. However, the attitude of the staff at the airport’s service counter was not really good. The explanation was unclear and she answered my questions impatiently.     there were 3 agents at airport for wifi rental, one was KT, one was LG and one was SK. One customer at KT and no customer at other two counter. I thought this was from KT because the logo from reservation paper showing KT. I waited to 10-15 mins, the only one customer at KT desk had no sign to finish, I went to SK desk to check this, person at SK desk looked my reservation paper and said it was from KT, not her. I went back to the KT line even still one customer, I waited another 15 -20 mins, after KT person checked reservation in her computer and found no my reservation, she said I should I go to SK, SK said again, I should go to KT. After they back and forth, finally, SK person realized my reservation was with SK. Wasted more than 30 mins. I think you should train your people at airport, so they could see what reservation is from your own company.

    Worked great! I bought this as a backup for the SIM card but didn’t need it! My friend on the trip had issues with her card so she used it instead and had little to no trouble with it. Please make note of ALL the components inside the bag when you check this out- you can request for the clerk to walk you through it. My friend got confused and left one part of it behind because its a common plug adaptor found everywhere in Korea and I had to pay 20,000won for it.

    The experience was… doubtful. The next day we got our wi-fi at airport it just stopped working. Our phones could’t see the wi-fi. So we went to several SK Telekom offices to ask them what the problem was and everybody was saying us to go to Pine avenue building office, and it was kind of difficult to get there without navigation, had to constantly asking for the route. Finally we got in the right office, i talked about 40 minutes on the phone with an employee who definetly couldn’t speak English good enough, because i didn’t understand him and neither did he. But i just had to talk with him as nobody else in that office spoke English! He constatntly was repeating that wi-fi devices just didn’t work good, and it wouldn’t help us if we change it for another one. Somehow we’ve agreed on changing our wi-fi (it obviously didn’t work) and charger (just in case) devices. Even had to pay the fee for the one day use… And guess what? The next day charger just broke! I was so angry and dissapointed but we decided not to go one more time at that office, and just charge wi-fi with power banks that we brought with us.
    The new wi-fi device worked fine, we were in Seoul and then in Busan – worked everywhere. But it had slow connection at the end of the day.
    I was just curious would they ask us to pay for the broken charger at the airport when we will return everything. The day we were coming back home i explained the situation to an employee and thanks god – she said we didn’t have to pay anything.
    So, reading all the comments below – looks like everybody had no issues with these devices, and i definetly cant’ say the same.

      We have checked with our Partner SK telecom and they told us that firstly the time was the transition period egg routers was exchanged for a better connection. They should have checked when you pick up from the airport if it is working or not (Now it is fine and they have changed all the device in Airport Sk telecom) and also when you reached the Pine building, unfortunately, the English speaking staff was off on the day so it took time to solve it. It would had been better if you or the SK telecom staff contacted us then we can help to communicate in English. We feel very sorry again for your inconvenience.

      We will investigate more detail with SK Telecom and contact you again. We will try our best to do better service.:)

I rented a Wi-Fi egg once I’d arrived in Korea which I thought would be impossible as most other places that I visited said that I needed to either live or pre-order. The Internet speed is good and the coverage excellent. The battery runs flat in a few hours, but the backup battery pack is OK. My device was heating up, but I don’t know if this is an issue. The pick-up and return service in the Incheon Airport Terminal 1 is excellent as well. Overall, I will highly recommend to everyone!

    Korea Travel Easy certainly made it easy to rent a pocket wifi! We rented 2 devices and it was a breeze to pick them up at Incheon Terminal 2. We were up and running in no time. Service was adequate for us in the Myeongdong area and although the battery life was a little bit short, the accompanying external battery pack helped us get through the day until we were able to power up again at the hotel. Dropping off the devices was also very easy. We won’t hesitate to go through Korea Travel Easy again! Thank you!

    I’d recommend to anyone who needs wifi in Seoul. Battery last for around 5-6 hours, but no worries you’ll get a free power bank rental, it’s more than enough, stay connected all day. Easy to pick up and drop off at the airport. Overall great experience, no complain, will use it again!

    We got the wifi egg yesterday. At first, the lady at SK counter confused with our booking. After showing the booking email, she finally get our bookings right. We used this wifi at Busan area and only connected with 2 devices. We are very disappointed with the connection. The connection is too slow, and sometimes disconnected without any reason.     From the start there were some troubles, I prepaid and they couldn’t find my reservation. I think they gave me another device because I booked my egg fo 4 days but on documents there were 5 days… wifi was fast but it would often turn off by itself… so I’m not exactly happy with the device, but better than nothing I guess. I don’t recommend prepaying. Price is not more adventegeous

    Easy to use. Small body and light weight. The internet was a bit slow sometimes. The extra battery was probably not fully charged when I picked up.

    The wifi egg was very useful and was able to provide wifi to 4 devices. A wifi egg is the way to go if you plan to have several devices that needs wifi. However, the battery pack that came with this device was a disappointment. I should have inspected the battery pack as well when I pick it up at the airport (I only tested to see if the wifi egg itself was working). The ribbon cord for the battery pack at the USB port had exposed wires. Because of this, I decided not to use it to prevent further damage and ended up just using the external charger I brought for my cellphone instead. This was unfortunate because this prevented me from being able to charge both devices at the same time. It would be nice if all devices were thoroughly inspected by the vendor before renting them out to customers. But other than that, I would still rent from this vendor again. I had no issues with wifi connection in Seoul and Busan. The process is very simple and quick as well. I was able to pick up my wifi egg immediately with no problems and head on my way. It’s also open 24 hours and all my questions were answered promptly when I was deciding to rent from this vendor before traveling to Korea.

      I’m so sorry to hear that the portable power bank didn’t work the way it should’ve. We’re going to take the proper action to report this issue to our partner in charge of the wifi router and do everything in our power to prevent this from happening to our future customers interested in renting it.
