eSIM (embedded-SIM) is a virtual SIM Card that is embedded in a mobile device and can connect you to any operator in the world offering eSIM services.

The eSIM works the same way as a traditional SIM, but you don’t need a physical SIM card.

List of devices that supports eSIM (as of August 2022)
  • iPhone : iPhone XR / XS / XS MAX, iPhone 11,12,13 series, iPhone SE series
  • iPhone XR / XS / XS MAX is supported only with iOS 12.1 or above version.
  • Devices which are apart from the list above, please confirm with your mobile phone manufacturer
  • iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (Gen. 2 and 3), and iPhone XS purchased from HONG KONG, MACAU is supported.
  • iPhones purchased from China do not support eSIM service

2. Receive an activation QR code via e-mail within 2days of purchasing

3. Set your phone as follow:

iPhone: Go on Settings > Cellular data > Add Data Plan > Scan QR code > Confirm

[IMPORTANT NOTES]
  • Based on how many days you need the e-SIM you can combine the different options.
  • Only devices that support eSIM with country lock-off can be used. Please check carefully your device characteristics before coming to Korea.
  • After registering the QR code on your device, it is counted hourly on the time it was recognized. Ex: In the case of 3 days(72 hours) eSIM, started using it at 14:00 on the 6th, and it can be used until 14:00 on the 9th.
  • NO REFUND POLICY after purchase. After sending the QR Code Refund is not possible.

How to book

After login, fill in each option; add items to the cart on the right. You can add multiple items in your cart and pay in one payment. We accept all major international credit cards and Paypal.
You will instantly receive the order receipt by email. The confirmation voucher will be sent to you within 2 business days of booking, subject to availability. If you have not received it yet, please check your SPAM email or MY ACCOUNT on our website.
Enjoy your eSIM Card When receiving your QR code, follow the instructions and activate your data plan.

 

Reminders

  • Although you need to choose an Activation Date, the service is not really activated until you get the eSIM QR code and activate it.
  • You will get a QR code once your order is confirmed.
    (QR code's expiration period lasts for 60 days)
  • From the moment you receive an eSIM QR Code the service is Non-Refundable.
    (so, please make sure your mobile phone matches the required conditions for using eSIM card before you place the order)
  • You will receive an SMS informing you about the exact expiration date and time.
  • This is a Data ONLY eSIM. Calls and text services are not included.
  • You must turn off roaming services to activate the eSIM
  • You must print out or display the QR Code on another device to scan and register the eSIM.
  • Please make sure you have connected to a Wi-fi network while registering the eSIM.
    You can either register before entering Korea or in Korea
  • eSIM will be activated once the registration is finished. Please connect to the ‘KT network’ and the eSIM will start.
  • Once the eSIM registration is completed, it would be unable to use on other devices.
  • It is possible to re-register the same eSIM service on the same phone if you have accidentally removed the eSIM.
  • You must register the eSIM service within 60 days after you have received it, otherwise it will expire.
  • If you are using a phone which is not supported KT LTE frequency, the 3G signal will be shown. Please note that a refund or exchange will not be accepted under this situation.
  • Please make sure you have completely unlocked your phone with your mobile provider especially
    if your mobile phone is from the United States, Canada, Japan, or the Philippines.
    However, if you were using a prepaid SIM card in your country, please skip the above step.
  • Please contact our online C/S center if you are facing any difficulties.

    Having one of these is an absolute must if you’re traveling to Korea. Excellent coverage everywhere including subway trains (tried in Seoul, Incheon, DMZ & Busan). Super easy to set up on your phone as well.

    I plan to visit Korea on 18th October, I have some question before I purchase it.
    1. Can use in Full south Korea ?
    2. Does it count from adding E-Sim to mobile, example I purchase on 6th Oct, and adding to Mobile on 18th Oct, so it count from 18th oct right ?
