1) Romantic Roast at Gangneung 2019 Coffee Festival with Music bank Kpop concert!
Gangneung is famous for its original coffee and unique coffee streets. The coffee culture in Gangneung is very vibrant and has led to the hosting of the Coffee Festival since 2009. This special package tour offers you an opportunity to explore Gangneung’s iconic sites and enjoy a coffee roast with one other person for free. Over 100 Roasters and Baristas will be on performance at over 150 designated booths. The festival will also showcase a world coffee zone with coffee-producing countries such as Brazil, Kenya, Indonesia, India, Colombia, Rwanda and Italy. Free tasting of coffee will be available for every visitor. Other activities to enjoy includes; hand drip coffee experience, exhibitions, music performances, coffee museum and coffee show.

There are several marketplaces in Gangneung. Gangneung Jung Ang Market is located at the center of the city and is the largest one in the area. It is a typical Korean market selling all sorts of foods and other goods. You can enjoy lunch with various kind of food there!

The concert was amazing and were were able to get pretty close to the stage so it was a great experience. The only down side was that due to time contraints we were unable to go to the beach and the market and we were rushed at the rest stop. Since the concert was the main attraction for me I didn’t mind as much. Tour guides were also very friendly and helpful.

The concert was awesome, we had the perfect spot in front of the stage. But, there wasn’t much of a coffee festival. We were there for only 10 mins tops, so it wasn’t as advertised. The time also, could have been managed better so I give it this score

The concert was great, and seeing as it was the reason I went, I can’t be too disappointed. However, the event seemed unorganised and the guides didn’t seem to have a great idea on what was going on, but I believe that to be the fault of the head organisers, and not the guides who were helpful and tried their best with the inconvenient situation. Also we never got to go to the coffee festival or any of the other schedules. We also had very few opportunities to get food, and we had to stand for over 2hrs at the concert venue before the concert started, which was really painful (I understand this is not the fault of koreatraveleasy, but that of music bank, however I don’t understand why we had to go in so early if our area had been reserved. Korean fans didn’t come in until an hour after we did). Were I 10 years older, I would have hated this event.

I bought these tickets just to see NCT Dream and i didn’t really expect much know how the seating was gonna be but it was all standing no chairs (which I like) and I got really luck that the line I was in got me pretty much front seats like i shit you not my dude I was at the bar livin life to the fullest and all the idols were absolutely amazing and beautiful and the concert was so timely and punctual which was great too but the bus to get there was running late and we didn’t have much time for anything at the coffee festival (not like there was much to do there anyway).. but yeah other than the rushing and the coffee festival not being that interesting (only some booths to buy coffee or local goods and a couple a food trucks) the concert was fabulous and I had a great spot so thanks^^

None of the courses mentioned in the itinerary were carried out. The bus left late so we didn’t have time to go anywhere except 휴게소, where we were only given 15 mins (there were huge line-ups for the washroom so we spent 10 mins in line and 5 mins for the convenience store). Can’t believe we didn’t have time for lunch or dinner between 10am~11pm. When we got to the coffee festival, the guide said there was a confusion and we got off at a wrong place. So another waste of time trying to go back to the festival. But we couldn’t even go to the festival after because we didn’t have time. Plus the only place we went to, the concert, the concert tickets were FREE. So basically we paid US $35 for just the bus ride to a FREE concert, and for an empty stomach. This was a scam.

The concert was amazing. However we didn’t get to go to the traditional market or beach as was advertised. When we got to the venue they were so concerned over the coffee festival they didn’t let us go to the loo. We were only able to go after the festival. That was like 5/6 hours. Poor management
