1) The Blue House (Cheongwadae)

Cheongwadae, also known as the Blue House, is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Korea. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks with a traditional Korean architectural feature.

 The complex includes various buildings such as the Chunchugwan, which is the main building for receiving guests and holding meetings, and the Nokjiwon, which is a beautiful garden.

2) Insadong

Insa-dong is known as a cultural and artistic hub of the city and is a popular tourist destination. The area is known for its traditional Korean crafts, art galleries, antique shops, and street food.

Insa-dong is also home to numerous cafes, tea houses, and restaurants that offer a wide variety of Korean cuisine. The neighborhood is known for its preservation of traditional Korean culture, and visitors can find many examples of traditional architecture, such as Hanok houses and Buddhist temples.

3) War Memorial of Korea

The War Memorial of Korea, located in Seoul, is a large museum and memorial dedicated to the history and sacrifices of the armed forces of South Korea. It is the largest military museum in Korea and one of the largest in the world, covering an area of about 300,000 square meters.

It also has an outdoor exhibition area that includes tanks, fighter planes, and other military vehicles, as well as statues and memorials dedicated to fallen soldiers. The museum offers guided tours in multiple languages, allowing visitors to learn about the history and significance of the various exhibits.

2 ) War Memorial of Korea

5) Seoul Station’s Seoullo 7017

Seoullo 7017 is a pedestrian walkway built on top of a former highway overpass in Seoul, South Korea. Its name comes from the combination of “Seoul” and “lo” which means “road” in Korean, and “7017” represents the years of the overpass’s construction and rebirth as a pedestrian walkway, which occurred from 1970 to 2017.

Seoullo 7017 stretches for about one kilometer and features over 24,000 plants from 228 species, including trees, shrubs, and flowers. The walkway also has shops, cafes, and performance spaces, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
