Overview
Enjoying Busan’s Skyline from the Symbol of the City
If Seoul City has Namsan Tower, Daegu City has E-World Tower, then the symbol of Busan City is definitely Busan Tower. This architecture work was created in 1973 and still stands proudly at the height of 69 meters above sea level in the middle of Yongdusan Park. The tower itself is 120-meter-high and its design was inspired by the Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju.
Although having very traditional design, the tower features many modern and interesting means of entertainment such as an observatory deck, media galleries, souvenir shop, cafe and also VR experience area. The Tower is a great pride of Busan citizens and is considered a MUST-VISIT spot to tourists. From the top of the observatory, you can enjoy the spectacular day and night view of the city as well as many famous attractions of Busan city, especially the city’s port. It is no exaggeration to say that you are not considered to have been to Busan if you have not come to this tower!
