The movie is not only a great pride of Korean people, but also opened a new page in the history of the global film industry as it became the first international film to win the Oscar’s Best Picture Award.
The filming of “Parasite” took place at the two cities in Korea, Seoul and Jeonju. While Jeonju is the setting most of the indoor scenes, the outdoor setting of the movie was filmed mainly in Seoul, at real locations. So if you are a fan of this masterpiece and happened to be at Seoul this time, this tour is definitely a MUST-GO! Not only do you get to actually set foot on the filming locations of “Parasite”, you will also get a chance to explore Hangang River Park, the setting for “The Host” – another great movie of director Bong Joon-ho!
