More than 40 years ago, a man named Lee Changho and his wife settled on this island and decided to turn it into a garden island tourist attraction. Oedo Island then became the first island in Korea to be owned and developed privately.
Oedo Island is known for its magnificent landscapes and scenic views of the crystal blue South Sea. The entire island is a stunning example of natural beauty and human creativity. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the gardens and the ocean in the background. This is also home to more than 3000 species of plants, including many subtropical plants that cannot be found easily in other places in Korea. On this tour, you will also be taken to Windy Hill – a hill covered in grass and overlooking the sea- the filming site for popular Korean dramas such as Eve’s Garden and Merry-Go-Round.

The Geoje Panorama Cable Car(거제파노라마 케이블카) offers a breathtaking aerial journey, boasting a view that encompasses the diverse and stunning landscapes surrounding Geoje Island. To the south, visitors can gaze upon the picturesque Haegeumgang River and Maemuldo Island. Towards the north, the urban landscapes of Gohyeon and Busan unfold.
