🚂🌸 Jinhae Gunhangje

When: March 26 – April 15
Location: Jinhae, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province

 

Experience the magic of spring at the 2026 Jinhae Gunhangje Cherry Blossom Festival, Korea’s largest and most iconic cherry‑blossom event. Every year, millions of visitors gather in Jinhae to admire endless rows of cherry trees, scenic streams, and historic railway tracks draped in soft pink petals. The iconic Yeojwacheon Stream forms a “Cherry Blossom Tunnel,” while the old Jinhae railway line offers a nostalgic backdrop of blossoms framing passing trains.

🌷🌸 Taean Tulip Festival

When: April 3 – May 5
Location: Taean, Chungcheong‑Namdo (west coast of Korea)

 

Taean transforms into a vibrant festival ground filled with colorful tulip displays every spring. Over a million flowers bloom in carefully designed patterns, creating themed gardens and beautifully arranged flower paths throughout the park. Visitors can stroll along well-organized walking routes, enjoy seasonal performances, and discover charming photo spots set up between the tulip fields.

 

 

 

🏞️🌸Gyeongju Cherry Blossom

When: March – Early April
Location: Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province

 

Gyeongju combines cherry blossoms with Korea’s ancient history. Around Bomun Lake and historic temples, soft pink blossoms frame traditional architecture, creating one of the most scenic spring destinations in the country. It’s beautiful, especially for sunset walks.

 

 

 

🏙️🌸 Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom

When: Early April 2026
Location: Seoul (Jamsil area)

 

One of the most popular cherry blossom spots in Seoul, Seokchon Lake offers a stunning contrast between nature and the city skyline. The blossoms surround the lake with views of Lotte World Tower, making it perfect for both daytime strolls and evening photos with reflections on the water.

🍵🌸 BOSEONG GREEN TEA & BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

When: May  1  – May  5
Location:  Boseong County, Jeollanam‑do

 

Boseong is Korea’s most famous tea region, and during the festival the hills are at their absolute greenest. The tea fields flow over the landscape in perfectly lined rows, creating a calm and almost dreamy setting.

During the festival you can walk through the plantations, try picking tea leaves yourself, and watch how traditional tea is prepared. There are tasting spots where you can enjoy freshly brewed green tea, along with local snacks like green tea ice cream and simple matcha desserts.
