Naju City Tour & Rice Cake Tasting

Located in South Jeolla Province, Naju has long been regarded as a city of abundance. The Yeongsangang River, one of Korea’s four largest rivers that form the nation’s lifeblood, flows through the center of the city. Surrounding it, fertile plains spread all around, forming the breadbasket of the country. Known for plentiful amounts of sunlight, water, and fertile fields, the city produces the most delicious rice in the nation. In addition, it has now begun producing the Naju pear, the city’s representative fruit.

What’s for lunch? Amazing warm beef bone stew ‘Naju Gomtang’. Naju is a well-known city for local foodies, so make sure you try many dishes in Naju.

Indigo Natural Color dyeing experience in Myeongha Jjokbit Village

Jjokbit is a Korean term that indicates the indigo color.  In the Village, you will directly experience the natural color dyeing. The area of Naju has long been at the forefront of the natural dyeing and silk production industry.  As such, it is the only area to be recognized for its natural dyeing (Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 115) by the Cultural Heritage Administration.

It will be a perfect opportunity to get away from your daily routine and take care of your body and soul.
