1) Naejangsan National Park (내장산국립공원)
Naejangsan is a famous mountain in the Jeolla-do province and one of the national park with the height of 763 meters. and the Naejangsan mountain is most famous in Korea for viewing autumn’s beautiful red maple leaves. Travelers can enjoy the spectacular Autumn scenery until the middle of November because of its location in Southern Korea. There are also waterfalls, such as Dodeok Falls and Geumseon Falls, 1000s of local plant species, wild animals living inside Naejangsan Park. Other famous temples such as Baekyangsa and Naejangsa temples are birds-eye view in the park.

2) Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju Hanok Village is magical and takes you through a journey into Korea’s historical monuments. The area is a busy hub consisting of over 800 traditional Korean houses and filled with restaurants, museums, churches, cafes, and shops. Tourists will have a unique opportunity of eating pure Jeonju Bibimbap and other traditional meals. During this tour, you will have the chance to tour the Hanok village, eat lunch and even try wearing Hanbok for photo moments

I would highly recommend Naejangsan to anyone who want a spectacular view of the autumn colours. It is easy to walk from entrance to Naejangsan Temple as the paths are mostly flat. We were given 3 hours to explore. I would like a bit longer at the beautiful national park. 30 mins more will be good. Jeonju Hanok village is very interesting. Lots of food choices and nice old buildings. Unless you want a sit down dinner with full courses, 2.5 hrs is sufficient to walk about, enjoy street food, have a coffee at nice cafe and take pictures of ancient architecture. On the whole, the tour went smoothly. The guide took care of everyone. Lunch was yummy Gimbap which we can eat on the go to save time. We enjoyed ourselves!

Generally the schedule is well arranged by tour guide Won. The sushi lunch provided is very yummy. Naejangsan is very pretty. We prefer that to jeonju hanok village.

Yes I enjoyed the day trip. Timing for both places were well plan and we have sufficient time to enjoy the maple leaves in the mountain and have a relax time in Jeonju. The tour guide Mr Won was informative and responsible. My next visit to Korea will book any other day trip with KoreaTravelEasy again. Thank you.

It’s actually my second time in Seoul with another set of relatives / friends. I have booked tours with other agencies and I realized that in terms of having a “great” guide, noone came close to as Won (our guide) did. He was able to give us detailed and interesting historical background of the places we visited or passed by. He’s been really generous with his knowledge and service. At the end of the trip, he even gives us a sample of his dad’s very own apple juice. It was delicious and really tastes like apple (best apple juice I had to date)! About the places we visited, we we’re blessed with great weather on our trip last November 12. We managed to catch some yellow trees and colorful flowers around Jeonju Hanok Village. We really enjoyed the place. We also get to try bibimbap, as Jeonju is where it originated. It was definitely a great experience! At Naejangsan, fortunately we were still able to catch the maple trees although mostly kinda look like they’re already about to fade. Despite that, the place is still beautiful and worth a visit. We get to see how Korean culture embraces hiking during autumn season. Also personally speaking, the street food outside Naejangsan is better and cheaper than the ones we tried in Seoul. The soup of eomuk is a lot tastier and how can we forget the manju, those surely were yum! Anyway, I gotta say our tour with Won was the best among the tours we had for our trip this year and last. Would surely consider booking with Korea Travel Easy again : )

It was such a pleasure trip with beautiful scenaries and wonderful tour guide. Naejangsan is really best spot for autumn foliage. My mom even wanted to re-book a seperate day for naejangsan. For our wonderful guide, his english is good and able to give clear explanation and tips which points to go and what to skip. It was raining yesterday and he was kind to offer his umbrellas for us to use. In addition, he is being flexible with time and drove carefully. It has been a long journey (almost 8hrs on the road) and long day with raining but it has been great thanks to our guide.

Annyeonghaseyo! My mother and I joined this trip last November 17. Upon arrival at Myeongdong Station, we were warmly welcomed by Judy (tour guide). She explained the itinerary for the day and provided helpful information about Jeonju and Naejangsan. There was such a friendly atmosphere in the shuttle bus and we had a fantastic start!
Judy is very friendly and has a warm personality. We truly enjoyed our trip since we were given free time to actually explore and experience both the Jeonju Hanok Village and the Naejangsan Park. I even rented the traditional dress (Hanbok) and walked around the village and had opportunity to take beautiful photos. Although the fall foliage was not that apparent anymore, we were still in awe with the beautiful & picturesque scenery and the historical temples & artifacts.

Naejangsan is absolutely beautiful for autumn foliage viewing. Our guide Wonoba is really friendly and informative. The duration of the tour is great too as we have 4 hours of free and easy time in the national park. 🙂
