Welcome to this unique Flower tea party!

This activity lets you experience traditional Korean tea and refreshments. You will learn about six different types of traditional tea including the Flower Tea Party with Traditional Korean Refreshments – flower tea and traditional Korean desserts. You will also get to know about the story behind each process and broaden your tea experience by tasting rare medical and seasonal flower tea designed to warm both body and mind.

What will you get to experience?

Learn about different types of tea while enjoying a warm cup of traditional Korean tea.
Make traditional Korean desserts such as dasik, hwajeon, jeonggwa, gwapyeon and more!
Try rare tea such as medical and seasonal flower tea and learn about their special effects.

Dasik – A bite-size dessert made by kneading grain or other edible seed flour with honey.

Hwajeon – A Korean dessert made with flowers and herbs.

Jeonggwa – A crispy Korean dessert made by boiling sliced fruits, roots or seeds in honey.

Gwapyeon – A jelly-like Korean dessert made with fruits.

Itinerary


11 AM	Introduction 10 min
	Tasting desserts, teas, and other beverages (60 mins) Flower tea, blending tea, tea cocktail, traditional beverages, medicinal tea, and other refreshments, etc. will be provided. Depending on the seasonal program, 3-4 cups of tea and 2-3 other refreshments will be offered. Tea and other refreshments will be made on the spot and served during the storytelling experience.
	Hwajeon (Korean flower rice cake) making experience (40 min) Make hwajeon by using flowers and herbal tea. Take photos of the beautiful hwajeon. Taste the tea and hwajeon, each piece offering different flavors and shapes.
