Grevin Musuem is a world-class wax museum in Paris established in 1882 and has been around for over 133 years.
In France is it one of the most famous tourist attractions along with Louvre Museum, Chateau de Versailles and Eiffel Tower.
Grevin is a prevalent cultural institution that connects the past and present by manufacturing and exhibiting wax figures of world –renowned celebrities and important people.
The wax figures are made exquisitely by hand. Visitors who visit Grevin not only can meet the wax version of the celebrities but also study the history and story behind the fame of each person.
Grevin has expanded worldwide since 2013 and is now present in Montreal, Prague and Switzerland, with plans to open more in the next 2 years.
In July 2015, Grevin opened its first and flagship Asian branch in Seoul at the heart of the city in Myeongdong, close to Lotte Hotel and Department strore, City Hall and the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Just exit from Euljiro-1-ga station Exit 1 and walk 3 minutes.
Grevin’s Seoul branch is unique to include famous Korean celebrities as Seoul is the center of K-pop and K-wave with actors, singers, politicians and athletes that represent Korea.

With more than 14 exhibition halls and more than 80 life-size wax figures you can enjoy close up to Bae Yong Jun, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Soo Hyun, Park Shin Hye, Lee Min Ho, Jang Geuk Seuk, Rain, PSY, G-dragon, and many more!
There are also interactive games to enjoy with the bar-code from the entrance ticket (so don’t lose it !) : casino roulette game with Hollywood superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt in the movie Oceans Eleven, Quiz time with inventors Steve Jobs and Einstein, a flight landing simulation game and play some basketball with the legendary NBA player Michael Jordan! Also there is an area where you can learn more about the wax making process and try a virtual wax creation of your face!
Something that you might not know is that each wax figure takes over 6 months and costs 80million Korean won to produce!
