We had such a great time!! The lady who helped us was very friendly. We showed up first thing in the morning when she opened, and there was a large variety of Hanboks. Once we decided on a hanbok, she helped us get dressed in the Hanbok, and she also did our hair. It was such a great experience – would highly recommend!

Loved this experience! The whole process was very smooth, and the lady helping out was very kind. I am on the taller side, so they literally only had one hanbok that was able to fit me, but nonetheless it was gorgeous! She did my friend’s hair and my hair very beautifully, we were able to place all our belongings in a locker, and we put some of our important things (e.g. phone, wifi router, wallet) into a small purse that matched our hanboks. The walk to the palace is very close, and bukchon village is just a little walk further. Would highly recommend this experience!

We took the 4-hour traditional hanbok rental package and were very satisfied with the hanbok selection. The 5 of us were able to find hanbok design that we like and suit our personality/preference. The staff also did up our hair nicely and provided matching pouches for us to hold our valueables while we kept the bulk belongings and clothes in the locker. Would certainly recommend travellers who wish to rent hanbok to explore Seoul in to this shop.

The place is easy to find, just right at the front of insadong street. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us in a friendly manner and directed us to the racks where we could select our hanbok designs. She even gave advise on which hanbok to choose as I am quite tall and some of the hanboks may look too short and weird on me. She helped us to put on the hanbok as we were clueless on how to do it. They had a selection of hairstyles with pictures you can choose from, and will put on some pearls and pretty clips for you before sending you off to roam around. I like that they have big lockers to put all your stuff, bringing only the essential items in the small bags they provide to complement the hanbok. Overall, it was a good experience with them!

My friend and I purchased this amazing experience for four hours at Kukmin Hanbok Chabim. The rental shop was located in Insadong. There were countless of choices for our Hanbok style. We were assisted by the female shop owner if we were having trouble choosing. She also did our hair for us which was great! Afterwards we headed out to some palaces. If you wear a hanbok, you will get free entry into the palaces that are around the city! I think everyone should try this. You feel like a prince or a princess.

Place was minutes from the metro and easy to find. They have beautiful selections of hanbok. We opted for the themed hanbok. We went to the nearby palace and people actually requested photos from us. The 2 ladies assisting us were very nice and they made a very nice hair style for my daughter. Will definitely recommend the place.

Fuss free experience. The place is easy to find too! Took the 4h package, had time to walk over and snap photos at at the palace (we opted for the less crowded Changdeokgung), came back to Insadong and went for tea at a traditional Hanok tea house (and took loads of photos too). Staff were friendly & helpful!

Happy with hanbook experience. A lots of hanbook to choose include the hairpins/ accesories for hair. And for the hairdo..not all hanbook rental do this. And with this 4 hour i can do sightseeing to the palace, and the flea market. All is awesome. Its value for money. Well done.
