1) The Blue House (Cheongwadae)

 

Cheongwadae, also known as the Blue House, is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Korea. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks with a traditional Korean architectural feature.

 

 The complex includes various buildings such as the Chunchugwan, which is the main building for receiving guests and holding meetings, and the Nokjiwon, which is a beautiful garden.

 

 

 

 

2) Insadong

5) Seoul Station’s Seoullo 7017

 

Seoullo 7017 is a pedestrian walkway built on top of a former highway overpass in Seoul, South Korea. Its name comes from the combination of “Seoul” and “lo” which means “road” in Korean, and “7017” represents the years of the overpass’s construction and rebirth as a pedestrian walkway, which occurred from 1970 to 2017.

 

Seoullo 7017 stretches for about one kilometer and features over 24,000 plants from 228 species, including trees, shrubs, and flowers. The walkway also has shops, cafes, and performance spaces, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
